Accrington’s Incredible Schoolgirl Gives 5ft Disney Playhouse and LOL Dolls to Less Fortunate Children

A young girl from Accrington has captured the hearts of Facebook users after giving her precious toys to “children who can’t afford them.”
Six-year-old Holly-Grace came up with the philanthropic idea of ââdonating some of her toys after mum Kirsty Ainsworth asked her to put them away.
Holly-Grace, who attends Sacred Heart Elementary School in Accrington, then let her mother complain when she suggested giving them away for free instead of selling them.
“I told her to sell some of your toys because there are a lot of things that she doesn’t really play a lot with anymore,” said Kirsty, 28.
“She hasn’t played with her dollhouse in over a year and suddenly said ‘Why don’t we just give them to a little girl who doesn’t have one and her mum doesn’t have one. the means to pay? ‘.
“I was blown away, it was such an amazing idea for her to come up with on her own, but in the same way, it almost made me sad because it’s a really grown-up thing to do.”
Minutes after Kirsty posted a photo of the 5ft Disney Dollhouse to a local Facebook sales group, comments started popping up praising Holly-Grace for her kind gesture.
The six-year-old has been hailed as a “wonderful girl” while mum Kirsty has been praised for raising “a beautiful, kind girl”.
âWe had a lot of interest so I said to Holly-Grace ‘how are we going to choose who gets it?’. Kirsty added.
“So she said, ‘well, if I pick other things to give, we can spread them out so that everyone gets something.’
“Now she has collected a bunch of things, like her LOL dolls and baby Reborn, and said ‘other kids don’t have much and I want to make them happy by giving them new toys.”
Three-year-old brother Azazel’s sister Holly-Grace is currently out of school due to an eye infection, giving her plenty of time to plan for her next gift.
And it turns out that she’s not the only charitable member of her family with mum Kirsty who gives her free time to help others.
âI was supposed to start volunteering at the Maundy Charity Shop this week, to give myself something to do when my son is in nursery, but I had to delay that because Holly-Grace is not at the school, âKirsty added.
