When his last restaurant review was published, a food critic had no idea he was about to expose a married man’s alleged secret affair.

Tom Sietsema was told by a reader that he accidentally revealed that her husband was cheating when she saw him having dinner with another woman in a photo accompanying the article.

The journalist, who works for the Washington post, was shocked when his wife texted him to drop the explosive news during his weekly online Q&A for the newspaper – a screenshot he later shared in a now-viral article on Twitter.

“Well Tom, your latest review comes with a pic of my husband having dinner with a woman who isn’t me!” she wrote.

“When confronted with photographic evidence, he confessed to having an ongoing affair.

“I just thought you would be amused to hear about your role in the drama.

“I post two reviews per week, for Food and the Magazine, so I don’t know which restaurant it is.”

Captioning the screenshot, he added, “So this showed up on my live chat today.
