Luxe It Up! Peridot Robes offers luxury loungewear in sizes 14-40

Peridot Dresses is a new brand founded by fat activist Marina Hayes that is making the world a little more inclusive for wholesalers by providing us with something that is surprisingly hard to find in plus sizes: dresses!
I think anyone reading this right now will agree with me when I say that fat people deserve ALL the things the right-sized people have access to, and access to dresses designed to fit in. fat is certainly one of them! With #FightForInclusivity still going strong (shout at Saucye West) we absolutely want to highlight designers and brands that don’t stop at size 24 or 3X (we’ve talked a lot about body politics, fat release, and the importance of plus size fashion in all of these topics)!
Peridot Dresses is here for people of sizes 14-40!
Peridot dresses bring luxury and durability to loungewear
These dresses are not your typical dresses, no! Marina Hayes, Founder of Peridot Robes, set out to make luxury, ethically made and sustainably sourced dresses for plus size 14-40. I can’t tell you how long and hard I’ve searched for a decent dress in the past, only to have to settle for an overpriced, ill-fitting dress. When I tell you my peridot dress is my favorite thing, I’m not exaggerating lol.
It’s a feeling of coziness and coziness that was not available to me and other fat and super fat people until now… And you, we deserve it!
I contacted Marina because I wanted to choose her brain on her inspiration when it came to creating her line, and of course, what lies ahead for the future of peridot dresses!
Marina Hayes talks to us about her range and what to expect for the future!
TCF: How did you find your 3 basic dress styles (Kush, Bear and Peach)?
Marina: “The Bear is ideal for slightly more structured fabrics like our denim or our waffle. I wanted front pockets available because I know the side pockets are not accessible to everyone (some people are unable to easily reach items on their hips), so I kept it as a ‘mascot’ style. inclination ”. Kush is my perfect mom’s robe or for those relaxed nights on the couch, it’s so soft and comfy to wrap around.
The Peach was developed because I wanted something that squeezes my butt (🍑) and is very feminine, dramatic and long!
TCF: We wanted to talk about your next collections. What can we expect from your next outing?
Marina: “Our fall / vacation outing is SO exciting! We have more tie-dye Kushs right now because they keep selling!
I also make a men’s dress up to 8XL, we have a GORGEOUS maxi dress with such versatile pockets, and our hoodie dress is amazing, it’s basically like a hoodie that comes right over your ankles! I’m also working on my wrapping skills to make everything arrive as a gift for your loved ones for Christmas! “
TCF: Oooh, are you also expanding into loungewear ?!
Marina: “Absolutely! Peridot is about being comfortable with a perfect fit, the highest quality fabrics, pieces you invest in that will be your favorite thing for years and years to come!
Our Lounger Dress which will arrive later this fall is just the first step towards non-robe items! ”
She’s not lying… Kush tie-dye dresses are a bestseller! I am the proud owner of a Kush Rainbow Dress and it always gets compliments when I wear it to zoom meetings (yes, I wear my dresses on zoom) and when lounging with my family! Currently, Rainbow, Black & White, Peachy Purple, and Pinky Purple Tie Dye Kush Dresses are available! Get them while you can!
