Man Suffers ‘Life-Changing Injuries’ After Three M62 Car Crashes
A man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries following a three-car crash on the M62 yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene between junctions 22 and 21 around 11:20 p.m. Sunday.
It has now been confirmed that a man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Emergency services responded and a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.”

Adding that: “Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made.”
The section of motorway between 22 Denshaw junction and 21 Milnrow and Shaw junction (A640) westbound was closed overnight for five hours.
It reopened shortly after 5:30 a.m. this morning (August 23).

Greater Manchester Police, North West Motorway Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, North West Ambulance Service and Yorkshire Ambulance have all been called.
Video captured at the scene shows several cars with their hazard lights on at the scene and many people standing on the road.
Police call for information and ask anyone with information to contact police online via www.gmp.police.uk or call 101 citing incident 3391 of 8/22/2021.
