Some would postulate that there are few things in life that are better than sex, but beauty brand Too Faced wouldn’t agree. In fact, founder Jerrod Blandino can convince you of two things that are better (or at least very similar): the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and the matching new scent. Too Faced turned the beauty world upside down with the release of Better Than Sex Mascara in 2013, and it’s still known for being one of the most volumizing, lump-free mascaras in the industry for va-va-voom lashes. . Now the cult brand is back with a matching Better Than Sex scent.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Eau de Parfum is sensual to say the least, which is obvious (hence the name). The main notes of passion fruit, lychee and citrus bring a fresh punch to the scent, giving it a crispy feel, while the soft and feminine pink magnolia, jasmine, vanilla orchid and black rose give the fragrance its sweetness. And finally, the sensual blend of golden amber, patchouli, cedarwood and musk gives the scent a bold and undeniable sexy signature. So you can imagine why the name fits the scent so well.

After just one bottle throw that I knew, this scent would be aiming for # 1 as a new statement scent – the scent I look for when I want to smell rich, sultry and, well, like “that girl.” I have always been more inclined to sweet and greedy perfumes and the Better Than Sex Eau de Parfum is ideal. Don’t be too quick to think it’s a sweet scent, “I didn’t want it to be too perfect, I want it to be a little fake,” Blandino explained of the zoom scent.

The packaging of the bottle is as luxurious as the fragrance. Giving an early 2000s princess vibe, the pink bottle is adorned with majestic gold details. The design was inspired by the antique Dresden lamp by Blandino, which, according to the brand, “combines traditional and modern elements”. The bottle is also inspired by the Better Than Sex Mascara tube, of course.

In a nutshell, eau de parfum is “a sophisticated and modern love potion for women and men who are ready to make a statement in the bedroom and beyond,” the brand explains in a press release.

If you’re intrigued to try the new scent, it will be available in a set including the mascara on the Too Faced site starting January 1.
